Vaccinations Cape Verde

General advice

  • DTP

    DTP vaccination is recommended for all travelers. Get the vaccination against DTP before you go to this country.

  • Yellow fever

    There is no risk of yellow fever in this country. However, if you come from an other country where there is a risk of yellow fever, the vaccination is compulsory and must be given at least ten days prior to arrival. Ask an expert (doctor/nurse) at a travel vaccination centre if you need a vaccination.

  • Hepatitis A

    Hepatitis A vaccination is recommended for all travelers. Get the vaccination before you go to this country.

  • Altitude sickness

    In this country, you can develop altitude sickness. It can happen when you stay at elevations above 2,500 metres.

  • Mosquitoes
